Calm Morning

Looking at the lake waters this morning during my morning walk gave a great sense of serenity and peacefulness. At least for those short moments I managed to escape the evil clutches of TEST1 and ASSIGNMENT DATELINES. 

Now it's back to 'number crunching' as Dean would put it. Or in my case, 'formula crunching'.

I WANT/ NEED a holiday!! ~~~

Just beyond the bend

Finally, Camy and I got our long awaited jog. It was a really cold morning again and there was a slight drizzle when we first set out for the field. But once we cleared the last bend towards the field, the sky helfd a promise of a beautiful morning. We finally got the jog we wanted plus a great view to go along with the exercise. :-)

It's a bright and sunny morning. Hoping that it will be a day filled with pleasant surprises.

Chilly Gloomy Morning

I made a special effort to get up at 7.00am this morning to go jogging with Camy. A rather rare opportunity since I normally have classes at 8am.

The washbasin water was freezing when i turned the tap on to brush my teeth and wash my face. Rushed back to my room to get changed and started putting on my running shoes. As I stepped out of my house, I was thinking to myself that it was a rather chily and gloomy morning. But the thought of a good run would soon get me warmed up made me hurry faster down the two flight of stairs. Was still in the middle of my  train of thoughts when the first droplet hit my face. Looking up at the gloomy sky I gave a small inward groan.. It was DRIZZLING!! 

There was no way Camy and I could go jogging in such a weather  -  that explains why the water was extra cold and the air extra chilly and windy. So in a brief 5 minutes, we decided on a change of plans which was to go for breakfast in Tronoh instead. 

So much for waking up for a morning jog.

Awake

I have no idea what's happening to me today. I fell asleept at quarter to 12am last night. And all of a sudden I'm up and awake at 2.30am as if it's time for class. It's already 5.13am and I'm only starting to get a little sleepy again. Seriously have no idea what's with the really weird timing of mine. Probably a result of too much thinking again. 

However, some good things did come out of this 'weird time to be awake' session. Managed to finish my Power Systems MATLAB assignment, did my laundry since the washing machine is finally,  finally available. I also managed to complete part of my Professional Communications Survey form and last but not least print and study some of my lecture notes. And yes, the internet connection now is currently super fast as well.  (^ _ ^) 
I guess we can conclude from here that if you need fast internet connection in your hostel rooms, set your alarms for 5am in the morning to surf...

A rather productive session on the whole I would say. But lets hope that the tradeoff would not be me falling asleep in class later or even worse, not waking up for it. :-P

Every girl dreams of having a happily ever after love story. 'Happily ever after' it is something commonly found in movies, and has also been sung countless times before by numerous singers. However, we somehow never really grow tired of hearing about it and the song Love Story by Taylor Swift is currently my favourite song on the playlist. The video clip is sooo sweet as well. How wonderful if every love story ending could be just as magical as this song. For those of you who have not heard this song before, do check it out.

Packed Week

According to my schedule.. looks like I'm going to have a busy week ahead. Replacement classes + Assignments + Tutorials + Presentations. all of which contribute to making my supposed weekend starting point to begin only afer friday night instead of the usual after Wednesday afternoon. 

Strategy : Maintain a positive outlook and strive to deliver to the best of abilities and maximize learning.

My Valentine's Day Plan

Unlike what most people usually do for Valentine's day, my plan for tomorrow does not include anything lovey dovey as per what is normally associated with Valentine's day. Instead, it will tentatively be as listed in the following order below.

1. Early morning jog with Camy
2. Breakfast in Tronoh
3. Freshen up back in the room
4. Start studying the following subjects
a) Power Systems 2
b) Power Electronics 2
5. Watch a movie [downloaded from DC++]
5. Work on tutorials
6. Professional Communications Skills (PCS) group meeting
7. Sleep early to get up for church on Sunday.


Not exactly exciting stuff, and definitely what I had been hoping for on Valentine's Day. But at least it is a plan to help me pass the day without thinking of nonsense. Let's hope and pray that i can keep to the plan. AMEN!!

Officially on the road bound for craziness

A friend of mine has officially ceritifed that I am currently on the road leading towards craziness.

Because of a certain turn of unfortunate events, I'm currently in some sort of a depression, always day dreaming and drifting away in the midst of a conversation. This is a really random post and I guess I'm just ranting here because I need an outlet to channel my sadness and frustration elsewhere.

The past two days have been pure agony and suffering despite maintaining a happy composure in front of my friends. People, places and happenings triggering precious cherished memories.. Today however, I think I have officially reached a new level of craziness because someone which normally annoys me to the maximum most irritable level can even remind me of a certain someone.. Really beyond my comprehension.

Well, guess I better watch out on my level of craziness, else, the nearby Tanjung Rambutan might soon become my second home.
