The 24 hour plan weekend
A few weeks back, Camy, Dean, Ivan and myself were contemplating on the agenda we had planned out for one crazy weekend. It was definitely fun filled, tiring, healthy and indulging at the same time. The things which we successfully executed that weekend are as follows
1) The Good Friday Evening Mass
This was to be attended at St. Michael's Church (SMC) in Ipoh. A rather long service but shorter than was expected.

2) Euphonious 2009
This is the battle of bands competition which is held once a year in UTP. Rather enjoyed the guest performance by BUNKFACE. Although the genre of music is not my normal kind but I must say that their performance is rather spectacular for a Malaysian band standard.
3) Mamak session
Since we would all be starving by midnight, it was essential that we go grab a midnight snack after watching the Euphonious performance. Of course, as expected, we filled our tummies with yummies such as 'Roti Bakar Telur Manis' and 'Roti Bom'. Utterly sinful, but totally delicious.
4) Bukit Kledang
On the very next morning, we were scheduled to go climb or rahter, hike up Bukit Kledang. This was further elaborated on my previous post .
5) Dim Sum
The reward for going up Bukit Keledang was of course a hearty Dim Sum breakfast at the shops near Bukit Keledang. Counting this time, it has been my third time there this semester. The 'siew mai's' and 'lo mai kais' are not to be missed.
6) Japanese Food
We were definitely missing Japanese food since we only get to eat it when we go to Ipoh. As we were going for Easter Vigil Service in Ipoh, we decided to leave earlier for Ipoh and have dinner at a Japanese Restaurant. I already had my heart set on the 'Unaju' which is basically eel rice. Yum Yum...
7) Easter Vigil Service
This was one of the longest Easter Vigil mass, or service that I have attended to begin with. It lasted a total of 3 hours plus. But nevertheless, it was a very good service.
8) Sugar High Time
On our way back to UTP, we dropped by at Mc-Donalds drive thru to grab apple pies and Sundaes each. Would gladly get that sugar high again anytime.
