Tuesday lab slot (11am - 1pm) are super tiring. Both physically and mentally. Yeah yeah, i noe that it doesn't involve climbing or doing major lifing or sawing or anything like dat... It's just that, there's lotsa planning to do for this particular subjects (Analogue 2) lab...

First of course... there's the prelab to be done.. and supposedly submitted the same day the lab is conducted. Preferably, before the lab begins... However, lucky for us, for the past two labs, the prelab dateline was extended to the following day. Basically, for the prelab, we would have to do lots of calculation and simlation to create a model of a circuit which is functioning in accordance to achieving the objective of a project. Before actually sumulating the circuit with PSPICE, we have to first calculate the values of resistors and capacitors required... Not an easy task... for this part, i have to give credit to my lab partner logan for settling this part.

That's part one..Part two is constructing the circuit physically. now here's when most of the trouble begins... The usual being, inaccurate resultes being achieved... Totally frustrating and before an hour is up, one really feels like banging one's head aganinst the wall n be done with the torture of he whole process. :-P okie, i think i exaggerated, bt jus to make a point, it's tough... for the past two experiments, we had to go back to the lab during our free time to work things out... Thank goodness we managed to get acceptable results for our second experiment after spending God only knows how many hours in the analogue lab... **sweat...

The following is a picture of our circuit and the output waveform on the oscilloscope... yeah, i noe, not very pretty, bt most importantly, IT WORKS!!! . That's all that matters. :-P

A word of advice for those who are gona take Analogue 2... Enjoy analogue 1 while you can. BeWaRE & be PRePArEd for Analogue 2.

the circuit

the input output wave shown on the oscillosope (finally,we managed to get the results.....)

hahahahahaha.. for those functionalities u need an analogue to digital converter and vice versa. :-P For this lab actually we're doin amplificafition.
