Chirstmas time = ???

Christmas is that special time of the year which i always look forward to. Apart from the annual family gathering which involves lots of family members and lots and lots of food, it's also the time where one gets to receive tons of presents.... Okay, maybe not tons of presents, but quite a number of presents from aunts, uncles and of course, not forgetting our beloved presents.

All this indirectly means that, there will be lots of things to be done and part of the list will include the following

...

...

cook lots of food for family gatherings

go present shopping, which involves the tough situation of deciding the best present for so and so

Set up the Christmas Tree

Bake lots of cakes and cookies and all the good stuff which will contribute to horizontal expansion

the important activities such as EAT, EAT and EAT !!!

.....

...

But amidst all this excitement, most of us often forget about the importance of the spirit of Christmas. One thing which i realised this advent season, is the importance of forgiveness.... The need to forgive and to be forgiven.. Not only throughout the year, but possibly for the many years past, we might have done wrong or was wronged in one way or another. However what helps to make a difference is that we realise our mistakes, admit
our wrongs , ask for forgiveness and forgive other as well. And so, for those of you whom i have hurt in one way or another, I sincerely ask for your forgiveness and I hope you'll be able to find it in your heart to forgive me. (For the record, I mean what I say and as for those who choose to believe otherwise, the choice is entirely up to them.)

Okay, I guess that's quite enough of melodramatic talk for this post, back to more jolly things... I simply love all the presents from my beloved family, relatives and friends. Thanks for everything. MUAXXXXX

Below are some pictures which were snapped on Christmas day. Not showing some of the presents cause have already started using some of them :-P

It's been a while since i updated my blog... Kena sounding from Charles and Stef edi about letting my blog die a gradual and painful death.. :-P Well, anyway, been rather busy becoming my mom's chauffeur since i came back home for semester break. And when I'm not on duty as the driver, or as the assistant cook I'll be meeting up with my friends, watch a movie, do some Christmas shopping and take my sister out when she's in the mood for some shopping.

Anyway, met up with Mr Charles Tan Ian Kun aka super perasan friend of mine on Sunday at Mid Valley Megamall since he's doin internship at Cyberjaya now. Had lunch and talked abit bout what we've been doin since sem break started, or rather in his case since internship started. then we went on for our movie "I am Legend".. Rather good movie I would say. Definately worth watching.

So anyway teman Charles to get something for piggie who was visiting soon... :-P Hope you like your present piggie. Charles put lotsa effort into thinking and finding presents which u would like... We then decided to take a walk over to The Gardens, just to have a little look see window shopping.. Hehehehe... A rather nice place, but then again, it's a place where everything is rated super EX-pensive so it would definitely be nice... :-P

We found this shop, at one of the top floors, selling some really interesting stuff. What really caught my eye was the miniature sets which were on display. Everything looked of pretty, cute and real. Was really really impressed with it all. There was a whole collection of furniture to the many different types of cuisine from around the world. Managed to sneak take two pictures before i was cordially informed that 'pictures cannot be taken of the display' :-P
Check them out below.

looks so real and appetizing. Yummy yummy..

an interesting array of things with something to do with strawberries.

And then of course there was the awe inspiring harp performance which was really wonderful. Managed to take a photo of the talented young lady performing on the harp...

And of course, the outing will not be complete without some Syiok sendiri pictures. :-) The theme would be 'Christmas Trees' :-P

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!

COW ALERT !!

On the way to church yesterday evening, we came across a herd of cows (lembu) as we normally call it here in Malaysia. They were happily munching away to the grass at the road side.. It's actually rather common to see cows along the road to Ipoh from UTP. That by any standards is still considered rather normal.

Well anyway, the story goes that as we passed the cows, Bismo suddenly exclaimed "Hey, look at the cows, they're so skinny.." I don't remember what exactly was the topic of discussion berefe that statement popped up. But somehow, it wasa totally unexpected statement at a totally unexpected time. Next thing i knew, Roy, Edgar and me were laughing like crazy people. Me in particular.

Not even 1 minute after that incident we suddenly saw a cow happily trotting on the road in the lane we were using. It was slightly scary, because we had to do a drastic slowing down, and try to zap into the neighbouring lane. (Well, logicaly, it was either that or ram into the cow.) Ramming into the cow isn't exactly an option coz from stories that I've heard before, chances are, after ramming a cow, the car might be in a wreck, whereas the cow, will probably fall on the ground, get up and continue walking as if nothing happened.

As we passed the cow, another funny statement came out from Bismo. "Now cows not only cross the road, they actually travel ON the road like cars." :-)

I simply couldn't stop laughing at the hillarity of the situation... Supposedly now the joke about why chickens cross the road shouldn't be about the chicken anymore, but rather 'Why do cows cross the road?'

Its that time of the semester again, where everyone will be flooding the library, or staying up till goodness knows whatever time in the morning... (Actually, I'm one of those staying up till wee hours of the morning... burning the midnight oil as my mom would say.) Yeap... It's time for....

FINAL EXAMS !!!

Exams started off yest with Probability and Statistics.. Well, it was supposed to be an okay paper, but ended up with being not so okay after all... Sad case really.... And then today there was Communication Systems. Not that bad on the whole, except that my brain chose not to cooperate properly in helping me to recall the definitions to be penned on the paper.. Conclusion is, got quite a number of empty and sad looking holes here and there in my answer booklet. Oh well, that's done... and hopefully for good. Next up, got four more papers to go.. which are

i) Control Systems

ii)Mandarin Language

iii)Analogue Electronics

iv)and of course EMT - Electromagnetic Theory ~~~

---> which is definately gona blow some fuses in my brain..

Oh well, anyway, might not be updating for a while. Supposed to be studying... :-P

Here's to the remaining four papers. Time to start work again.

Last but not least, all the best to all who are sitting for final exams as well. :-)
