Huhuhuhu, having diarrhea is definately no fun at all!!~~

Basically I am stuck in the room... Or stuck in the Toilet to be more exact. This whole series of unfortunate dealings started sumtime in the wee hours of the morning... Geeezz, cannot even tido properly.. Definately look like a P.A.N.D.A already

And then comes the big question which everyone is bound to ask, ~~~What's the cause of the diarrhea??? ~~~~.

Well, honestly, I have no idea. Am trying to focus more on reducing the visits to the toilet and fixing one super upset tummy.

:-(

Since I'm room bound for the day, take this opportunity to blog about my so very unfortunate day... else kena from people again that blog sudah mati
:-P

Penang... Pearl Of the Orient

Unlike the normal Raya breaks for the past 2 years, I decided not to go home for the holidays. But instead, joined the trip to Penang organised by the Catholic Students Society (CSSUTP). Well, did have some nagging sessions from my mom for not going home (ahem... because i know she misses me so much.. :-P ). In the end, I still got to go for the trip. It was basically a two days two night trip, before we headed on for the Inter Campus Gathering (ICG) 2007 which was at Bukit Mertajam. Will elaborate more on ICG 2007 in my following post.

As we all know, Penang is a Food haven. There will be food anywhere and at anytime of the day. Among the Penang dishes that shudn't be missed are of course

i) Penang Char Kuey Teow - translated to be Penang Fried Kuey Teow.
ii)Penang Asam Laksa
iii)Cendol
iv)Samosa

The smell of the Penang Char Keuy Teow was so heavenly when we passed it on the way to SCIC (the place where we were staying during the trip). We were all practically salivating and the rumbling in our super hungry stomachs grew louder by the minute.

Unfortunately, due to the fact that we were like starving refugees when we arrived at Penang on the first day, we wolved down the food the moment it arrived.. :-P
Therefore, didn't manage to take a picture of the yummy yummy char kuey teow. (It was one of the nicest char key teow i've tasted. But probably the fact that i was super hungry enhanced the taste. )

the organising commitee prepared a treasure hunt around Penang island for the second day of the trip to guide us to the famous tourist spots around the Island. Among these spots were Little India, Penang Street, Komtar, Prangin Mall, Quessnsbay Megamall and many more.

The following are the pictures which we took throughout the trip.

Another posing session :-P

A taste of Penang Cendol..

Apparently, quite a number of famous people have tasted the cendol from this particular stall... Eg: Phua Chu Kang

Resting in front of the Muzium and balai Seni Lukis.
Unfortunately, we couldn't go in because it wasn't open.

The Hainanese Chinese Temple.

The Keiling Mosque

Introducing... Samosa (Chicken flavour). :-P

Some other indian delicacies (Sorry, didn't manage to find out the name)

Little India Street.

Queensbay Megamall.. reminds me of Mid Valley Megamall.

Support Jusco!!... :-P
Actually we were just wasting time while waiting for the bus to Gurney Plaza

A very colourful mural in Queensbay Megamall.

Convofair Treasure Hunt 2007

Hmm, very long overdue post.. But like the saying goes, better late than never. On the 11th of August 2007, I joined the UTP Convofair treasure hunt with a bunch of friends. There were 8 of us who joined together in total (2 teams). The following picture is a picture of me with my teammates. (From left : Me, Wan Sin, Anthony, and Ee.)

Team number 25, at the starting point of treasure hunt :-P

The basic idea of this treasure hunt was to travel, have fun and find the 'treasure'. The treasure hunt wat divided into two parts. The first was to solve the puzzle like questions given in the handout package at the starting point. The second part was the activities part where everyone had to basically, get down, and get sweaty and dirty. :-P

For the first part of the treasure hunt, it was the task of stopping at certain places to obtain hidden info in order to solve the given riddles. Don't really remember the places coz i was sleeping in the car along with Wan Sin during the travelling part and only awoke when we had to get down the car and start hunting. (Being a koala as usual... sleeping all the time.)

In short, our adventure brought us to quite a number of places. Among there were, Teluk Batik, Taman Paya Bakau, and of course, the all time favourite Pangkor island.

Taman Paya Bakau where one of our activities were located.

Pangkor Island~~~~ again... Seems to be my favourite visiting spot since i came UTP.

The following are the pictures which we took during and after the treasure hunt when hanging at the various activity checkpoints. I belive the pictures can do a better job of showing the amount of fun me and my teammates had during the treasure hunt than me telling in a thousand words.

this was actually a candid shot.. don't we look cute?

or more like crazy monkeys hanging around a paya bakau... well, we were more well behaved after that as shown below.

Me and my team mates on the ferry ride to Pangkor Island

My cute team mates - watch out ppl, umbrella on deck. :-P

Semangat umbrella. Thanks to Wansin for sharing it with us

Smile every1

UTP Convofair treasure hunt 2007 was definately a memorable experiece for me.. Not only did i get to have fun while travelling, But I also got to know a bunch of rili cool. crazy, fun and funny bunch of people. To me, it's the greatest experience and memory of this whole event..

Glad to have known each and everyone of you guys !!! :-)
